Oliphant didn’t do the things his brother and sister did. He was distracted, mischievous, and talked. . . a lot!

Oliphant did have some good qualities too. He could dive farther and longer than any other otter on the river bank. He had the prettiest collection of shiny things. He was very strong, and could move logs down the river as well as Barnaby the beaver.
