With over two decades of experience as an elementary educator, I have always been passionate about the magic of storytelling. I recently left the classroom to dedicate my time fully to my own craft as a children's author and illustrator. Writing from my home on a lake in Ohio, my narrative non-fiction and fiction works are deeply inspired by nature. A lifelong creative, I have returned to my early loves of sketching and watercolor while also expanding my skills in the digital age. When I am not writing or illustrating, I can be found enjoying lake life, spending time with my two grown children, or being entertained by my two dogs.
